This qualitative study aimed to investigate if there is a relationship between structural complexity of adult learning environments and learning outcomes in learning contexts with contrasting levels of complexity. Three teaching contexts with different levels of structural complexity were studied in a comparative design. The context with the most complex structure experienced the worse learning outcomes. Levels of structural complexity were conceptualized in terms of learning organization, offering and participation. The author concludes that a model of structural complexity is a viable approach for consideration in nursing education.Fear, Anger, and the Roots of Violence

The world today is full of complexity, but the church should not be blind to the violence that occurs in everyday life. Understanding the causes of violence is central to addressing this challenge. There are many common ways people view violence, and it is important to distinguish between them so that we can better work to prevent violence.

Violence is an intentional injury that harms someone. When we think of violence, the first common question that comes to our minds is: Who is the victim? Violence is almost always violent towards someone. A person who is not the victim is rarely the aggressor. The victim is usually the target of intentional actions, and the most common type of victim is a person. The term “violence” is often used synonymously with “crime.” But although crime is often the most visible sign of violence, crime is not the only indicator of violence.

Other indicators of violence include abuse, bullying, and war. The difference between violence and crime is that harm occurs when a person intentionally commits an action (no matter how insignificant or trivial it may seem) that results in physical, psychological, or relational harm to someone (sometimes, but not always, a victim). The type of harm that results from an http://maxcomedy.biz/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/undypann.pdf

The endosomal compartment becomes complex following adhesion of a cell with a protein-coated surface. Multivesicular endosomes (MVEs) can be detected by electron microscopy after different treatment of adhering cells with cytochalasin D or its precursors. The adhesion of mammalian fibroblasts to the extracellular matrix protein fibronectin induces MVEs, which often show an electron-dense layer. Although MVEs contain several proteins characteristic for late endosomes, lysosomal proteases are not detectable. MVEs are lysosome-like organelles with lysosomal, degradative properties. As a model system we used L cells that are devoid of the Golgi apparatus. After adhesion of the L cells, MVEs appeared as electron-dense, membrane-bound organelles containing internal vesicles. The number and appearance of these structures varied with the adhesion conditions. To investigate the mechanisms involved in the formation of MVEs, we incubated adhering L cells with cytochalasin D, and mutants of cytoskeleton microfilaments and microtubules. The MVEs induced by cytochalasin D were inhibited by nocodazole. The protein synthesis inhibitor cycloheximide did not affect the number of MVEs induced by cytochalasin D or by adhesion to fibronectin-coated surfaces. These results suggest that microfilaments and microtubules are not required for MVE formation. MVEs could be derived from endosomes or from late endosomes by fission. To address this question, we pulse labeled the cells with [35S]methionine and chased these cells with cold methionine. The radioactively labeled components of endosomes were fully chased. In contrast, radioactively labeled proteins in MVEs were almost fully chased suggesting that the endosomes contribute to MVEs. Lysosomes were swollen in MVEs as shown by electron microscopy and lysosomal enzymes were released into the surrounding cytosol during adhesion. Lysosomes could be separated from the MVEs by high
