Be aware that the CC messages are exclusive for the chosen midi channel, you can’t use them for a midi channel other than the one originally used. This is obviously inconvenient, but you have to hold the button down.

The Channel Changer has 2 additional buttons that send SysEx messages when pressed. The channel numbers used are : CC #105 (MAJOR KEYSUP) – #106 (MINOR KEYSUP).
A SysEx message with the major key number 105 can be sent by holding the key down for about 0.5 seconds.
A SysEx message with the major key number 106 can be sent by pressing a key.
Unfortunately, there’s no effect from a SysEx message sent from the CC VST host application.
The firmware can be flashed over the serial port using the command:
“host” -m 13 -a “controller_num.2.2.1” -l “controller.config.midi_port” -a “reset_port” -o “midi” -p “cc_driver_port”
Here the first part of the command, “host” tells you the name of the device that is connected to the Port X of the CC VST host application.
The controller_num.2.2.1 represents the second processor (2) and the first processor (2) of the CC midi driver, which is the processor that has been used to flash the CC VST host application.
If the CC VST host application is flashable on the first processor (processor 0) than the name of the controller_num.2.1 (processors 0 – 1) would be used.
The controller_num.2.2.1 represents the port of the serial flash interface on the second processor (processor 2).

This VST plugin allows you to change midi channel on-the-fly, simply pressing a button and a key.
The Channel Changer remembers the most recently active transmitting channel and resets it to channel 1.
To change midi channel, simply press and hold a midi button of your keyboard sending a CC message #105 and set the desired midi channel pressing a key in the range C3 (channel 1) – D#4 (channel 16) then release the button. You can select channels C3 – D#4 (0 – 15) by scrolling the mouse over the slider.
To reset channel, simply press and hold the same midi button sending a CC message #106 and choose channel 1 by pressing a key in the range C3 (channel 1) – D#4 (channel 16) then release the button.
In order to come back to midi channel 1, simply press and hold a midi button of your keyboard sending a CC message #106 and choose again channel 1 by pressing a key in the range C3 (channel 1) – D#4 (channel 16) then release the button.
A Button of the midi keyboard connected to the Channel Changer’s midi input is used to set midi channel and a key of the midi keyboard connected to the Channel Changer’s midi output is used to select the midi channel to be reset.
When the desired midi channel is established or reset, it is indicated in the Channel Changer’s GUI.
A Midi In and a Midi Out of the plugin are connected to the host midi input and to the midi input of a Vst instrument respectively.
Try to connect the midi out of the plugin to the midi out of your midi keyboard.
The Channel Changer does not send any data by itself.
