I had the same issue, but finally figured it out. First you have to download the AutoCAD beta, because they have removed the import and export from the Autocad standard, and replaced it with the Beta version. I’m not sure what versions are the last stable version and the beta version, but the beta version won’t work, and the standard won’t allow you to save to any format.
Secondly, make sure you have these versions of the software.
