How can I do a custom fade in or fade out effect in VB.NET?

I am looking for a way to fade out an object, so it goes from 100% opacity to 0% opacity, and then fades in from 0% opacity to 100% opacity in an effect like a modal popup box is working. I have looked around and found a lot of things, but most are found on C# and I am not sure how to translate it to VB.
Anybody know how to do this?

.Net standard 2.0:
Public Class FadeInOrFadeOut
Public Property FadeType As Integer
Public Property FadeDuration As Integer

Public Sub New(FadeType As Integer, FadeDuration As Integer)
Me.FadeType = FadeType
Me.FadeDuration = FadeDuration
End Sub

Can I get Mac OS X to start a program on startup, even if I haven’t run it since I last logged in?

The title pretty much says it all. I am running OS X 10.5.8 on a MBP, and would like to know if it is possible to make OS X start a specific program on startup, even if I haven’t run it since the last time I logged in to the machine (even if that is less than a minute ago). I am happy to provide any more information as necessary.

Yes, that’s possible. You can set your OS X to auto-launch programs by right-clicking on the icons of the programs you want to run. If you want to do this in a customized way, you should look at the auto-launch commands in the Login Items section of the System Preferences.

You can set it to login item, but it will have to be a specific program (I’ve not tried it to be honest).
You may be better using launchd to do what you want as it allows for “global” programs to start as well.

What’s New in the?

To create accurate sketch lines, in addition to notches, you can now draw lines from the end of a closed curve. Use two-point lines to create a precise segment of a circle, and edit two-point lines to fine-tune the shape, rather than going back to the origin and starting over. And you can also select and export ellipses, circles, rectangles, and polygons.

A new type of marker in the Surface Style dialog box makes it easy to create and edit dynamic surface contours. Find out more about dynamic surface contours in our “What’s new” in AutoCAD 2023 post.

In the SMART Set Drawing window, the Automation Display feature on the Drawing tab is available to make your work processes more efficient. You can now “soft group” the icons for a single operation on the left side, creating a set of related commands.

The Transaction Details dialog box has been updated with new controls for exporting and importing drawing metadata. You can find more details in our post on “What’s new” in AutoCAD 2023.

The Surface Tab in the Surface Style dialog box has been redesigned to add more control over extrusion styles. With the addition of new extrusion templates, it’s easier to change the size and shape of surface textures, such as granite, marble, slate, concrete, and brick. You can also use the current colors and color ranges, or view the pattern image as a grayscale or color fill.

The Spatial Filter filter has been expanded to provide more filters for “full fillet” and “capped fillet”.

There’s a new option to include the local X,Y coordinates in the Coordinates panel in the Measure tab. You can find more details in our “What’s new” in AutoCAD 2023 post.

You can now import images directly from cloud-based services, like Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, and Google. You can also set a default image for each new image in the Annotation panel of the Image Editor.

New drawing views, including the Sheet View and the Text, Text Box, Text, and Text with Attachments views, have been added to the Palettes tab. In addition, you can save any drawing view, including those added to the Palettes tab, to an independent drawing
