AutoCAD 2018 22.0 [Mac/Win]

The first version of AutoCAD was released as a proprietary software product in 1982. Since then, it has been available as a shareware, trial, or full version product.

Today, AutoCAD and its graphical user interface (GUI) are considered standards in the field of CAD design. AutoCAD and its graphical user interface have been around for almost 30 years now, it’s time to learn how to use it in real-world design. This tutorial will teach you the most popular techniques used in AutoCAD.

Keyboard shortcuts

AutoCAD has been around for almost 30 years now, and so it’s no surprise that AutoCAD’s GUI has also been around for almost 30 years now. Like many other GUIs, AutoCAD’s GUI is based on the concepts of Windows, MacOS, and Unix. So, if you already know how to navigate through different OS platforms, you already know how to navigate through the AutoCAD GUI.

In AutoCAD, the keyboard is your friend. This is especially true for the most common actions such as creating a new drawing, opening an existing drawing, or changing the current drawing view.

The toolbar

The toolbar is a menu bar that appears at the top of the screen. To open the toolbar, click on the small “+” sign to the right of the wrench icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.

The toolbar is divided into five sections:

Toolbox: Click this menu to open the Toolbox. The Toolbox is where you can find the most commonly used functions such as tools (that are explained later), properties, and profile.

Customize: Click this menu to open the Customize dialog box where you can modify the toolbars and buttons on the toolbar. You can select which buttons you want to display on the toolbar. You can also change the order of the buttons on the toolbar.

Window: Click this menu to open the Window menu. The Window menu is where you can select which window you want to see on the screen. The most commonly used windows are Drawing, Properties, and the Clipboard window.

Help: Click this menu to open the Help menu. The Help menu is where you can access the extensive help system.

Data: Click this menu to open the Data menu. The Data menu is where you can access the extensive and very powerful data management features of AutoCAD.

2D data is stored in a special geometry format called a 2D polyline. A 2D polyline (also known as a linestring) is a linear collection of segments, which can be closed with the start and end points. For example, a line segment from point A to point B can be defined as:
1 3
2 A
3 B

Line segments are stored as a collection of coordinates and attributes. Attributes are extra information that can be added to each segment. An example of a line segment with attributes is shown in the following figure.
1 2 3
1 1 0 0.1
2 2 0 1.0
3 3 1 1.0

In this line segment, the first and second points are connected with a line, and the third point is connected to a line, but is offset by 0.1 in the y-direction from the third point. The last line segment shows the coordinates and attributes for the line segment.

2D data can be stored as text in the.DWG file. The format allows the use of special characters to define, for example, properties, variables, or other information in a specified point. Example 2D data can be found in the following figure.

1 2 3
1 2 3
1 1 0.1
2 2 0.1
3 3 0.1
1 0 0
2 0 1
3 0 0

Also 2D data can be stored in the DXF file format. A DXF file is a binary file format used to store the geometry and properties of 2D objects. DXF files can be created, read, and edited using the drawing application.

3D data is stored as triangles (n-sided polygon) in the.DWG file. A triangle can be defined as the three vertices connected by lines, but with no overlaps. For example, in the following figure the blue line shows two of the three vertices of the triangle:

This type of 3D data can be stored in the DXF file format. A DXF file

Run the main application.

Click on the “Arrange” tab and then click on “Control Grid”.
Click on “Add Key” button.

Select your file and click OK button.
Wait while it’s completed.

I can see the file without errors.

Use this to install AutoCAD 2014 or higher:

Download it from Autodesk site.
Download the AutoCAD 2014 AutoCAD Express.
Then, the AutoCAD system is already installed.
Autocad Express comes with a computer version and a web version.
You can connect to the web version using Internet Explorer on your computer.
Open Internet Explorer.
Then, you’ll be connected to the Autocad system.
